Wedding Wednesday

*If this is your first time visiting my blog, go here first to learn how it works!*

Every Wedding Wednesday I'll be sharing excerpts from my other blog along with new details!

I found a lot of stuff for my wedding by shopping in stores with great clearance sales. I practically lived in JoAnn's and Michael's craft stores, and I also spent a lot of time in Target and Walmart searching through stuff!

All of the little wedding items that you have to get REALLY add up! Favors, placecards, thank you notes, cake servers, bubbles, candles.....the list goes on and on! Even all of those things aren't really "necessary," they are things that many brides spend hours searching for! I know I did!

Recently, I made a clearance run through Target and found some adorable favors and invitation sets........

They had several shelves full of wedding stuff that was clearanced, probably getting ready for summer stuff! Yeah, I still look at it, even though my wedding was 8 months ago!

I thought these red favor boxes were adorable!

Here are a few links to other finds I made at Walmart and Target during my own wedding search!

Fun Finds at Walmart (Vases and palm trees I used!)
Kid's Table/Candy Table ideas (We bought all our candy and kids stuff on clearance or on the cheap!)

I bought quite a few things online as well using sites like The Knot, where I ordered my bubbles and Sand Ceremony Kits. They were really affordable! I loved the fact that I could customize the colors that I wanted for both the bubble bottles and the sand!

They were also very quick on shipping both items, and I found some great discounts by searching "The Knot + coupon codes."

I was soooo thrilled with my Sand Ceremony Kit! You can read more about how we used it here.

A picture of us using it during the ceremony!
