- Buy 16 Vitaminwaters at $1.33 each (limit of 6 per transaction, so break it up, your card will keep track of how many you buy total!)
Use 16 $1/1 coupons from the 4/5 SmartSource insert
or use 8 $1/1 and 8 B1G1 coupons from 'Save Money, Save the Planet' booklets from Publix
Spend $2.64-$5.28 (depending on coupons)
Get back $10 ECB, so you make $ on this transaction!
Spend $5.28 plus tax out of pocket, get $10 ECBs back - Or buy 6 Vitamin Waters and 3-12packs of coke products
Use either 6 $1/1 coupons or 3 $1/1 and 3 B1G1
Spend $12.99- $13.98
Get back $10 ecb
Like spending $2.98-$3.98 for all those drinks!!
Once you start shopping CVS and saving your ECB's from one week to spend on deals the next your out of pocket will be less and less!!
My plan for the week (which I've already done!):
Buy one Adidas
6 Vitamin Water 10
3 12 packs of coke
Use $1/1 Adidas
Use 3 $1/1 VW10
Use $15 in ECB's from last week's Scotch and Visine deals
Paid $1.70 oop and earned $10 and $3 in ECB's
Buy 2 Adidas
2 colgate
3 newspapers (they're $1 on Sunday now!)
Use 2 $1/1 colgate
Use 2 $1/1 Adidas
Use $13 ECB's from first transaction
Paid $.05 oop!! Earned $6 and $4 ECBs!
Whoohooo!
If you have your transactions figured out like this, always pay with your ECB's FIRST because then your manufacturer's coupons can take care of some of the tax...if you have $6.99 before taxes total and use 3 $1/1 coupons first then try to use a $3 ecb, it won't work because your total is only $2.99 before tax....but if you used your ECB's first and the coupons last, they would essentially take of a penny of tax (sometimes, it can be more, that's just a random example!)
